I’m moving to the area and stopped by with my husband and daughters to get some halal food while we look around for houses. Let me tell you all something….this is by far the BEST food I’ve ever eaten in my life. The flavor, the serving size was just out of this world! It is hard to find this kind of food and this place is going to be the reason we move. I don’t think I want to cook again lol. The staff was so attentive and nice and made us feel so welcome. It gave me such a good feeling about the city overall. I’m sure the entire menu is delicious but you guys need to try the oxtail with rice and peas, the stew chicken, jerk chicken , and don’t forget dessert! They have the tastiest lemon cake and coffee cake all made fresh in house. We dined in and it was very cozy, well kept, and clean. I’m counting down the days till we move and I will be back very soon for more!
We drove from Canada to Florida for 2 days and this is our first time visit Ocala, we feel so welcomed by the owner and his wife. Food is perfect! we tried OX TAIL and JERK CHICKEN, really love the taste. they are slow cooked for several hours and feel still juicy. couldn't finish it all so we took it for our following trip. Also thanks for the owner's gift, we really enjoyed it!! Very nice people and great food!
The food is super delicious. The owners are so nice . People should really try this place , authentic but tasty We work at the bank and decided to order our lunch here. We couldn’t be happier with our food . Everything not only looks appetizing but also a very satisfying meal. , I highly recommend this place if you’re you’re looking for a very good hearty meal . PS ..try their jerk chicken and curry chicken . You won’t regret 4/15/24 Had another jerk chicken from them. Never fails. Food is to die for. A must try experience. , Thank you thank you.
Stopped here on the fly, and I was surprised! What a hidden gem! The food is flavorful with a nice balance to it. The store also has a nice variety of international foods and snacks
The owners are very nice and polite. I have had the oxtail rice/beans and Mac and cheese they also let me try the rasta pasta and absolutely amazing. They give you more than enough food my plates are always heavy and enough to share
