Everything about our visit was excellent. Valet parking friendly fast convenient. Reservation check in and seating was quick. Our server was extremely nice and very attentive and was amazing at recommendations and always had a smile on her face. The food portions were large and the flavors were amazing! Thanks for a great night out and great first experience at Marks!
We came here Saturday night for our 1 year wedding anniversary. I've never been, but my wife has, but not to the Ocala location. I made reservations in advance, we were seated right away, in a nice big corner booth. I had said on the reservation it was our anniversary, so they gave us a little thanks for celebrating with us and the hostesses both wished us a happy anniversary. The food was amazing, our service was pretty good, we only had a few delays, but they started to get busy with large groups so it was understandable and didn't ruin our evening in any way. The gifted us a delicious cheesecake with fresh berries and a compote that was sooooo good. We also ordered some regular deserts and didn't realize they came with strawberries, which my wife is allergic to. They took the deserts back and brought us new ones with no fuss, though we felt bad for wasting the deserts. We had a great experience from start to finish. While I know it's not a place we could go to all the time, I highly recommend this spot as a great option if you are planning a special event or occasion in Ocala.
We received a $75.00 gift card to eat at this restaurant, so we thought we would try it out. They appeared to be attempting to draw the upper class as customers. The prices on the menu were much higher than we were accustomed to. Please don't think we are poor people, not able to eat out. I just refuse to be taken advantage of when dining. The restaurant seemed to be doing a good business, and it seemed as though they had regulars coming in. However I ordered a $22.00 hamburger and it had a very odd taste to it, and I was not pleased. Some places are just not for everybody, so this is just my opinion from my experience. Others may love it, but We were just out of our element. It was very loud, so you really couldn't enjoy a conversation, and there are many more quality restaurants, with good food at much better prices. I hope the regulars are able to continue to enjoy it, we just will not be returning.
Food is amazing. The prime rib is fantastic and juicy. Daniel is a very confident and on top of things server. A manager came to check in on us and we had so many great things to say about Daniel. My husband's salmon is perfectly cooked and falling apart. Lobster Mac was very good. A bit too much parm cheese on top for me but delicious. As I'm writing this our amazing server brought over the mousse and it is EVERYTHING. Please get it when you come.
My husband and I took our dog, Taco, to Mark’s Prime Steakhouse on 4/18/2024 for Taco’s 15th birthday. We called ahead to confirm that dogs are allowed at the outdoor seating and they were really helpful with all of my questions. We brought a birthday plate for Taco to eat off of and a bowl to drink from. The staff were really friendly to all of us, especially Taco. There was a card on the table to celebrate his birthday. Our waiter was Jank who was excellent. He was genuine and upbeat. Also, Jank was great about keeping our drinks filled. The staff at Mark’s made sure our evening was special. Jank even brought Taco a little cup of whipped cream with a candle for his birthday dessert! It was very sweet and thoughtful! We appreciate everyone being accommodating and welcoming to our precious boy. The food was delicious, of course, but the staff went above and beyond. It was a wonderful experience and we were very happy when we left. Thank you, Mark’s, for making our celebration one that we won’t forget!
