Service was excellent, the chef came to the table which was very honorable. The lamb was amazing, the pretzel burgers was super juicy. The crab cakes were a little off but other than that I would definitely recommend to friends

I'm sad I just discovered this late. A great place to go for a dinner date.
The staff is always friendly, the atmosphere is quite enjoyable, and the food has been great everytime. I like the decor as well.
They say it get quite heavily trafficked on Firdays and Saturdays, so I'd recommend not going those days. Haha. Only because I enjoy a more quiet experience.
If you do want to go Fridays and Saturdays, they recommend having reservations.

Great food! Everything is locally sourced. Very creative drinks and attentive staff. The owner is very nice as well. Will definitely visit again.

We frequent downtown Ocala and somehow have not noticed this place being open since February. This space has been a revolving door of failed businesses. Maybe we just overlooked something amazing finally happened on this side of the square. What a pleasant surprise Morevino is in downtown.
The atmosphere is upscale yet still casual. Beautiful lighting with wine bottles in bookshelves. Staff was extremely attentive and worked really well together supporting each other. We started with a Blue Morevino and a Santos Trail. Both were delicious. The Blue Morevino was a martini and the Santos trail had playful add ons including a like bike and trail mix clipped to the side. The drinks are inspired by local places or stories which is a thoughtful touch. They also have an extensive wine offer if you couldn’t already guess by their name.
The bread came first which was a mix off standard sliced baguette and their unique focaccia bread. We ordered the charcuterie board which had an amazing selection of meats and cheeses. This by far was the highlight of choices. We have experienced some good and underwhelming charcuterie boards before but this is a direct reflection of the creators appreciation of quality ingredients. An absolute must try; the accompaniments were delicious as well especially the spiced cherries. We then ordered the meatloaf substituting mash for linguini with a red sauce and a beef short rib substituting mash for the traditional risotto. Execution was great and most everything was delicious. The one thing we would have to say we were slightly disappointed in was the short rib was missing the rich bold flavors you would expect. Both the meatloaf and short rib shared a similar standard brown gravy where the short rib was missing its typical jus.
We were concerned visiting towards the end of the kitchens closing would alter our experience but the whole place functioned likes they appreciated have customers no matter the time. I really want express how much this place should stand out in comparison to its competitors downtown. They make all their own sauces and their ingredients are fresh including farm to table proteins. I would be remiss to not spread the word on the quality this place offers in area that needs someone to raise the bar. They have officially set the standard for downtown. I wish Morevino all the success they deserve.

We were waiting to go watch a movie at the drive-in and stopped in for a glass of wine. What a great little place with great ambiance! Very helpful staff who are very attentive! We loved it and will be back!
