My recent visit to the Brick City Southern Kitchen in Ocala, FL was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The ambiance was perfect for a relaxing evening out.
Our waitress, Kayleigh, truly made the night special. She was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Her recommendations were spot on, and she had an impressive knowledge of the menu.
The food was absolutely delicious. For the main course, I had the vegetarian plate, cooked to perfection, while hubby enjoyed the Two-meat combo, which was equally delightful. The portions were generous, and the presentation was beautiful.
Kaylee’s service was impeccable throughout the evening. She checked on us regularly, refilled our drinks promptly, and made sure we were completely satisfied with our meal. Her cheerful demeanor and professionalism added a personal touch that made our dining experience unforgettable.
The Brick City Southern Kitchen is now our go-to spot for a great dinner in Ocala, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!

My wife and I loved the food. The staff were all very nice, and if you beat the dinner crowd it is a very nice, rustic atmosphere. I had the Club sandwich and it was absolutely amazing! We will definitely be going back!

Our first visit here and we'll definitely be back! We loved the decor, ambiance and the service! Great people! We ordered a bunch of appetizers to split between the table and everything was delicious! Highly recommend this lovely place!!

Food: Ordered the three meat plate (Brisket, Ribs, and Pork) with corn and beans. The ribs were great, had a really good run on them, the pork was fine, and the brisket one piece was extremely dry and the other two very tender and juicy. The BBQ sauces all had good flavors to them. The corn and the beans were the real winners.
Service: The bartender was very friendly and helpful. She checked on me constantly to make sure all my needs were met.
Atmosphere: Seemed like a decent mix of regulars and visitors. It was quite dark inside though, which didn't bother me, but might for those with bad eyesight.

A great place with an extensive bourbon selection and some delicious southern food. I sat at the bar and had a view of the many bourbons available and the bartender was attentive and helpful with making my choices. The food was flavorful with large filling portions that were a good value for the money. Everything came out quickly and was hot and freshly prepared. The fried pickles were thin and crispy and the chicken juicy and flavorful. I ordered some heavier dishes but they do have some less heavy options available. Everything was great and this a place worth visiting when in the area especially with friends.
