We felt like trying something new. I thought this would be a cute little bistro with good coffee and decent food. When we came in, we were surprised by the very warm lighting. The ambiance was very comfortable and relaxing. We were blown away by how good the food and the coffee was. The service was excellent. This is my new favorite local spot. I genuinely have not had food this good in Ocala. We came for brunch and it was reasonably priced. Definitely plan on coming back to try the dinners sometime when we can afford to.
The food pictured is LC’s Sandwich with truffle French fries. Definitely recommend, as well as the Eggs Benedict with Salmon.

We dined here for Easter brunch. Pleasant surprise that they offered their dinner menu instead of brunch menu. All was good to very good. The goods were the Brussels sprouts - some were hard, but nice flavor; Cesar salad - the dressing was very lackluster and bland, but fresh crispy greens. However, on the very good side were the grouper dish, the lamb shank (which was a special), husband said very good but much better at Mesa de Notte in Ocala. The escargot was very tasty, as well as the French onion soup. We had crème brûlée for dessert and this one comes in a very close second to the Four Seasons in downtown Houston, Texas. Overall, lovely Easter meal with delightful service from hostesses to our server Sean. We will return.

The food was good, but the French onion soup was salty, and the red wine sauce for the beef bourguignon was not as rich as I am used to. Although the beef was perfectly done.

My wife and I went to la Cuisine for our wedding anniversary. It was our first time there. This was, without a doubt, the best restaurant experience we have ever had. The food was superb! Everything arrived in perfect time, and appropriately hot/cold. In addition, the service was excellent. Ryan was very attentive, yet, not over bearing. He was extremely friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. Patrice, the owner, greeted us as we left. He was also very friendly. You can definitely sense the pride he has towards his restaurant, and employees. We will definitely make la Cuisine our restaurant of choice, for our special occasions.

Traveling on Ocala downtown we were not able to get into any restaurant for dinner on a Friday night unless we waited for an hour. We decided to go to this French oriented restaurant as we were told it was the best in the area. It was half empty.
We sat at the bar, and after a while we were serve drinks. Good selections of libations, whiskey, Gin, and Vodka. Acceptable wine list, although I would expect more from a French restaurant. Food was ok. Presentation was ok. Escargot were very tasty in a not so French sauce. Duck Magret was excellent with great sauce. The cheese risotto was ok.
Gratinee a l’oignon ( onion soup ) was just broth, super hot, with very few onions, couple of crostini floating and not so good flavor. Seems all was prepared in a microwave. Not sure.
The special of red grouper on a cherry Beurre Blanc sauce was very poor, hard, sole like. We did not eat it. And the cheese risotto was different than the one on the duck.
Overall a 3.5.
Not the best restaurant in the area. Expensive. An American- presque French restaurant.
Servers were very nice.
